• 4/30/10 - Spring Fling Sober Dance sponsored by District 18 for AA and Al-Anon. Located on Hays Road in East Greenbush. from I-90 take exit 10 (Miller Road), right at base of ramp(from Albany) or left at base of ramp (from Nassau or Boston). Right at first light and left at next light unto Hays road. Pull in past the firehouse and park. Dance is in the Christian Ed Bldg of the .Bloomingrove Reformed Church. Call Central Office for more info. 9am to 12pm - AA meeting at 8pm in Church Lounge. The suggested donation is $5.00
• 5/30/2010 - District 2 Memorial Day picnic, 12 noon to 4pm. Speaker meeting at 3pm. Location is Peebles Island, Cohoes, NY. The donation is $5.00. This includes hamburgers, hot dogs, tea, soda and water. Food donations such as covered dishes, salads and deserts to share are appreciated. Parking in the Peebles Island lot is $6.00 per car. Free parking is available if you are willing to walk. From the Cohoes side there is parking on Delaware Avenue before the park entrance. It is almost a one mile hike to the park. From the Waterford side, park on the side streets. This is a walk about one-quarter mile. For less expensive parking carpool with friends and split the lot fee. Call Central Office for directions to the park.
• 6/15/2010 - Unity Day sponsored by District 14 at Central Park Pavilion in Schenectady, NY. 11am to 4 or 5pm. Fellowship, picnic, speakers, music, volleyball, fishing and play area for kids. Meetings at 1pm and 3pm. A donation of $5.00 would be appreciated but not required. Bring a dish to share. Call Central Office if you would like to help.
• 10/08/2010 - Tour of GSO in New York City. Bus will leave Hannaford parking lot 900 N. Central Avenue, Albany, NY at 7am sharp to attend the 11am meeting at GSO. Lunch will be downstairs in same building at 475 Riverside Drive at 1:15pm. For more info and to make reservations call the Central Office. You will be given the name and phone number of the contact person.
